About Lafayette Yes!

Lafayette Yes! is a political action committee dedicated to the social and economic future of Lafayette.  Our motto is "Say Yes! to Lafayette's Future!"

The Chairman of Lafayette Yes! is Attorney Kaliste Saloom III.  "Kal" is son of former City Attorney, and City Judge Kaliste Saloom, Jr.

The committee Treasurer is Alan Hebert, CPA of Thibodaux, Hebert, Deshotels LeBlanc.  Mr. Hebert recently served as Treasurer for the campaign of Dr. Charles Boustany.

Lafayette Yes! has endorsed, and is campaigning for passage of the bond financing for the Lafayette Utilities System fiber-to-the-home telecommunications network.  The bond election is expected to be held on July 16th.
