Beware of Strange 'Push Polls'
*Cox and BellSouth accused of Misleading Poll Questions*
Opinion polls are supposed to help find out what people are thinking about important public issues. These are called 'push polls' and they are one of the dirtiest tactics in modern politics.
Just weeks after the Lafayette City Council voted to hold a vote on the proposed LUS Fiber Optic Network project, Cox Cable and BellSouth have been caught calling Lafayette residents and using 'push poll' tactics to manipulate public opinion.
